Moodfy in your pocket.
Moodfy started on the web because that was the fastest way to ship. Within three months it became clear that the real product lived on a phone, in a hand, between two trains. This is the native iOS and Android companion. Same backend. Same friends. New superpowers.

01 — Meet GenZ where they live
A great web app can't reach a phone-first generation.
Moodfy's core audience is 16 to 25. They don't open browser tabs. They open apps. They expect push, they expect friends to be one tap away, they expect the phone in their hand to feel like the product. The mobile companion ships Moodfy to that surface natively, without forcing the web app to bend out of shape.

02 — One backend, three surfaces
The mobile app doesn't live alone. It plugs into the same graph.
Moodfy now lives in three places. The web app you discover on, the Chrome extension you save from while browsing Netflix, and the mobile app you actually scroll on. Three surfaces, one backend, one friend graph, one taste profile.
Web
Discovery, deep search, long-form. The lab.
Extension
Auto-logs what you watch on Netflix and Prime. Rate it on the way out.
Mobile
Pocket, push, friends, voice. The everyday surface.
All three surfaces talk to the same seven endpoints. Whatever you watch in Chrome lands in your friends' mobile feed within seconds.

The mobile calls them with a Supabase JWT. The web uses Supabase directly. One identity, one graph, three windows into it.
You watch a film. The browser knows. Your friends' phones know.
The Chrome extension auto-detects what you finish on Netflix or Prime, asks for a one-tap rating, and writes it to the same graph the mobile app reads from. No copy/paste, no second login, no out-of-sync feed.
03 — Notifications, friends, voice
Three things only a phone in a hand can do well.
Most of Moodfy's features already exist on the web. What the phone unlocks isn't a longer feature list, it's a different kind of presence. These three are designed to use that presence carefully.
Push that respects the room
A handful of nudges a week, never a stream. Friends, high matches and a Sunday digest. That's the whole alphabet.
Friends as the heart of it
Compatibility bars, common ground, style bars and vibes. Designed to feel personal, not stat-y. You see who, not what.
Trouver, by voice
Describe the mood out loud, the AI does the rest. The fastest way out of a 20-minute scroll is to stop scrolling and talk.
